Historical Town Tour
This walking tour normally starts at the "Cession Stone", commemorating the signing of the Deed of Cession between Fiji and Great Britain, see the "Anniversary Bure" built for Prince Charles to entertain dignitaries when he came to grant Fiji her independence in 1970. Also see Fiji's first Churches, Levuka Public School (Fiji's first Government school) and The Ovalau Club (Fiji's first social club), the first Masonic Temple in the South Pacific, Queen Victoria Memorial Hall, The Royal Hotel (Fiji's oldest hotel), and the War Memorial on Niukaube Hill, where Ratu Seru Cakabau held parliament. As you stroll through town, you will meet many of Levuka's residents and hear stories of Levuka's rich and interesting past. The tour takes about 1½ to 2 hours.

Tea & Talanoa
... with Duncan Creighton
Duncan's home is located at the top what is known as Mission Hill. To get there guests can either walk up the well-known 199 steps or take the easier walk through the beautiful settlement of Kalaba. At the house Duncan, who is something of a legend in Levuka, will formally welcome the guests. He is giving a presentation on the history of the area and his house, which is over one hundred years old, including a tour through his house and his beautiful botanical garden. Another attraction are his parrots and iguanas (a great photo opportunity). Refreshments will be provided.

...with 'Bubu' Kara
Bubu Kara is the direct descendent of Silinatoba Saurara, the 2nd Fijian man who arrived on the island. She will share with you the story of how her ancestor arrived on Ovalau, and the history of her village. Bubu Kara tells this story in a cultural Fijian atmosphere. Traditional Fijian refreshments and hospitality will be offered..

It's situated on the north west coast of Ovalau, 10 km from Levuka town. Enjoy the coastal scenery whilst relaxing on the beachfront or take a tour of the village to witness a typical Fijian way of life. See at first hand the Fijian village features where the different social structures are identified. There is also the village green and the church where social gatherings are held. The relic of the past such as the base of the Bure Kalou (temple of spiritual worship) is not to be missed.
Take a walk in the bush to enjoy the cool forest air and the scenery from the hills overlooking the ocean.

• Lovoni Tour with Epi
The village of Lovoni lies in the center of the islands volcanic crater and is a lush and fertile valley. Lovoni is historically significant for many reasons. They were never defeated during the Cakobau Wars and showed their displeasure with the European settlement of Levuka by burning it down three times. Levuka Museum

The Museum is the original building of the Morris Hedstroem merchant company dating back to 1868. The Levuka Museum displays an interesting collection of historical artefacts, as well as a large shell collection and also accommodates a library.

Scuba Diving with Ovalau Watersports

Excellent dive spots including dives around Ovalau, Wakaya, Makogai and Motoriki area. Beautiful hard and soft corals as well as lots of big stuff, like hammerhead-, bull-, grey reef-, silvertip-, nurse- and whitetip reef sharks and of course all the small creatures.

Also frequent encounters with manta rays.

Snorkeling

Snorkellers can join divers on the daily boat trips, reef tops come close to surface.

Fishing (Hand line and trawling)

Bobo's Farm at Rukuruku

The Farm is nestled in the Rukuruku valley, on a riverbank, a one hour truck ride from Levuka. One self-contained guesthouse is available, excellent traditional meals are available on request.
Activities and entertainment: trekking, swimming, water sliding, fishing, bird watching, kava-round, singing.
