Levuka during cyclone Gene 28 January 2008

On 28 January cyclone "Gene" went through Lomaiviti. This has been the first destructive Cyclon to affect the Lomaiviti area since cyclon "Kina" on 3 January 1993.
Damage through "Gene" in Levuka was minor but some areas of Fiji suffered considerable losses.
